Lidl to remove unhealthy treats by cash desks

15 Jan 2014

Lidl says that it is going to eliminate unhealthy foods such as sweets at the cash desks by the end of next month.

This follows a move by both Tesco and Sainsbury to do the same in their larger outlets, cure view cialis sale although I notice in both my local Tesco and Sainsbury the sweets are still there.  One wonders how successful Lidl will be.

Now it is up to the brand managers to think of a way to produce the packaging which will get the impulse buy on the shelves rather than at the cash desk.
