Makro adds more products to private label offering

Makro Cash and Carry is to increase the amount of products it carries under its own private label brand.  Currently it has around 2,000 of its private label on sale.  Makro pretends to be a warehouse at which only registered businesses can shop, however in practice anyone can use the store and this focus on private label only goes further to underline this practice.

Makro’s private label brands include Horeca Select, Aro, H-line and Rioba.  Horeca Select is aimed at restaurants and as over 1,000 items.  Last year it added 280 products to the range and in the first half of this year a further fifty were added.
