EUR75m factory cancelled in Poland

According to Polish financial daily Puls Biznesu a plan by petfood manufacturer Mars to build an EUR75m factory at Sochaczew near Warsaw has been cancelled.

The company has already manufacturing facilities on this site.  It chose to build on a special economic zone which would have given it certain taxation benefits, check nonetheless as the borders of the zone were changed the company withdrew from its plans.  It has announced that the factory will now be built in Germany.

Nonetheless a second smaller factory may still be built in Poland according to Puls Biznesu.
