Printers launched which can be controlled via smart phone

Coding and marking specialist Linx Printing Technologies has launched the Linx 7900 CIJ printer, prostate including new software which allows users to control and monitor the printer remotely through a web browser, rx via PC or a smartphone.

 

The Linx Insight? software allows the operator, cialis sale via their PC, to start, pause or stop the Linx 7900, change messages from pre-stored selections and download messages from the PC to the printer. Users can also lock the printer keyboard to prevent changes being made on the line ? helping to reduce coding errors.

 

From a smartphone there is the ability to check the status of the printer, view the current print message, print count, ink and solvent status, and time to next service.

 

Linx says the software means users can manage multiple printers from one web interface, meaning day to day operations can be performed without visiting each printer individually.

 

New ink system technology also means the Linx 7900 can run for up to 9,000 hours or 18 months between services and the Linx 7900 comes with a warranty of up to 18 months at no extra cost.

Linx says routine maintenance is minimal and there are no expensive ink system assemblies to replace at every service. Similarly, there is no need to change the ink tank between services, another hidden cost with other ink jet coders.
