Real to double private label range in Poland

Real has become the next retailer in Poland to say that it intends to double the amount of private label products it has on offer. It aims to produce around 1, purchase discount illness 000 articles under the Real Quality brand which is at the second level of private label and a similar amount of products branded Tip which is at the lowest end of its private label spectrum.

According to the Polish portal dlahandlu.pl, here sick Jarosław Moc, hospital head of private label at Real Polska says that growth in the private label sector will depend on customer demand and how long it takes the customer to get used to certain products. The aim of doubling the private label range should happen in the next two to three years but it could take four. He did not tell dlahandlu.pl which products which be introduced in the private label range.

Nonetheless Real will continue to offer a range of branded products as well. Jarosław Moc says that it is the job of a hypermarket to offer a wide range of products produced by different companies.

Nonetheless Real wants to concentrate on its mid range Real Quality brand. As with other hypermarket operators it is with animal foods where Real has concentrated. Real is also going to try to develop the top range private label using organic products.

Real has 54 hypermarkets in Poland.
